Alright, sorry for the really delayed reply. Been busy with life.
As to your problem with the respawn timer and UNKNOWN, not sure what's causing this, you may want to just reDL the HUD and see if that fixes it. If not, then let me know. Also, not quite sure what you mean by disabling the HUD's shadows. Could you elaborate?
Finally, because you seemed to be having some troubles with the other scoreboards, I've made a small update to Version 1.0.5:
-added 16:10 scoreboard

Just a quick question: how does one switch off disco mode after obtaining uber?
You can go into HudAnimations_tf.txt in your scripts folder and find the section for uber. Change both instances of "Uberflash" to "Uber" and you should be set.

-Added option for pulse animations at low health+ammo (Found in scripts folder)

- The {unknown} is still there, in place of the respawn time and server time at the top left of the screen. I can still see respawn times in the tournament-mode spec UI, but not the regular one. I'm using the 16:9 scoreboard if that means anything.
- The spectator list on the scoreboards clips behind the scoreboard when there's more than one spectator, making the names impossible to read.
- The pastebin for hudanimations_tf in #17 worked for me in enabling flashing HP and ammo, though I had to edit it slightly as it disabled my uber bar flashing on full charge. It'd be nice if you add/edit that function in at some point.
- The ping is cut off from the scoreboard in this version (though I fixed this myself by shrinking "score_width" in scoreboard.res from 25 to 21).
- The option to remove shadows from the hud numbers doesn't seem to work.
What resolution are you running?

Tedsturjust something I found when goofing around, the two zeros aren't aligned and im not sure how to fix. prob shouldnt be using vac anyway sooo

Oh yeah. Vaccinator is hell to try and fix for me. I've tried and failed quite a few times. I'll see what I can do, but for now I think it's stuck like that.
vanitaslooks really good i really like it, is there anyway to remove the damage numbers and the uber charge from under the crosshair?
another thing: which txt file deals with the medic uber charge number?
Damage numbers can be moved/removed in the HudDamageAccount.res file. The mini ubercharge number can by removed in the HudMedicCharge.res file under the "ChargeLabelTiny" definition, just set visibility to 0. The same file deals with the Ubercharge number.

-Because I'm bad at knowing how to distinguish HUD versions, I've now 180'd and changed "Last Updated date" to "Release Version" You should now have 1.0.3 if you're up to date.

jakeowatypwny_ you are my last hope.
In previous ya_hud versions there was the ability to have an additional cross right next to the the target you are looking at/heal, remember? In the old available version of ya_hud I can't find it, and I asked whayay to maybe tamper with it, but he can't be bothered. I spent myself a few hours trying to get it to work, but it always was either too big or misplaced.
Having an additional cross to the target would be helpful though, without changing much with the current ya_hud version. Possible?
It's entirely possible. Just go into SpectatorGUIHealth.res and find the entry for PlayerStatusHealthImage. Turn it to enabled and visible and tweak it from there.

staticreally nice hud man. do you have other health files that dont have the pulse cross, just the numbers?
I'm afraid I don't have one offhand. You can navigate to /resource/ui/HUDPlayerHealth.res, then find the entry for "PlayerStatusHealthBonusImage" and change the ypos to 9999 to get rid of the crosses.
