Tob"cl_crosshair_file default" looks ugly and is bigger than the scattergun's cl_crosshair_file "". You can make it work with a simple script though if you don't mind
Since you know how to use vtf crosshairs, alternatively do this:
Open tf_weapon_grenadelauncher.txt
replace the crosshair section with"crosshair"This will make cl_crosshair_file "" crosshair for the grenade launcher the same as the scattergun's

Get quake-like textures/high LOD bias again

pwandaI know this thread is old but I do the steps correctly and it works in custom servers but as soon as I join a public server it goes away and only mat_mipmaptextures mat_filtertextures mat_filterlightmaps work. Basically my game is just blocky not smooth. Do I have to higher something or what can I do?
the flat textures are caused by a vpk which can be disabled by sv_pure settings
