I won't be able to follow the stream this weekend, I hope there will be an opportunity to donate after the event is over

I'm shocked, rest in peace to one of the greatest players to ever touch this game
rand0m.
There's one thing in particular I don't get from you people denying how much of an emergency Covid-19 is: if it really isn't all that bad, why did the whole world stop? Like, why has it never happened before, why only now due to what you describe as just a """flu"""?
Tino_Tbh, it's not class dependent but player dependent. Any class with a good player can carry a team with DPM frags or even calls and positioning micro.
I can't agree on that.
b4nny made the switch from pocket solly to pocket scout several times and it always proved out to be for the best.
Scout is just superior: better dm, easier to make calls, easier to set the pace etc.
Overall I'd say it goes Pocket scout > Demo > Flank > Pocket solly in the current meta
KikiThey shoulda let him play scout when they had the chance
you really thought b4nny was gonna give up the virgin beam scout spot that easily? Plus it's perfect for his maincalling and leadership skills
alfaI think iSeries/Copenhagen are the only way an international LAN will ever happen again, everyone in NA probably lost hope for trying to organize one here again after failing to host one for 2 years now.
That's because they were being organized by mentally disabled people, tho. I think it's entirely possible to have a big NA lan as long as those who are put in charge of it have an average IQ.

I get your point but I really struggle to understand how you can still think it that way in 2020.
I think the community has done anything possible, countless times, without any support from Valve whatsoever, for years and years now.
Nothing has changed. There can't be anything more that a community alone can do at this point.
Valve does not want to make TF2 an esport, it was never in their plans, they make enough money off hats n keys n cosmetics already.
TF2 was never meant to be an esport. When it released, they had no idea how huge the skill ceiling actually would have turned out to be. It was always sold like a hat-simulator or whatever, never as something competitive.
Hell, the dev-team is probably composed by 2 members at best. And it still runs on Source 1 (f)
Like it or not, that's just the reality of things, and I wish I could see it the same way as you do, but at this point I feel like it's just delusional.
EDIT: just wanted to add that if the solution to this stagnant """relationship""" with Valve is to shift towards their idea of competitive, with no class limits, no weapons banlist ecc. don't count on me. I love 6s cause they take away all the unnecessary bullshit that should not be in a competitive game, but I get it just gets down to a matter of taste in this case.
RGL is the best league in the world.
BarryChuckleunfiabooSo, I guess we're just gonna ignore italian food since it simply belongs to a different tier...

you surely know how to trigger a spaghetto haha
So, I guess we're just gonna ignore italian food since it simply belongs to a different tier...
It's because we haven't changed our meta into Valve Competitive's yet. As long as we don't do that, we won't get any updates and, most importantly, no major.
gemmcan someone please explain these threads to me I'm legit really confused
do you guys think it's ok to tell people to kill themselves?
if it's not, why is them being banned an issue?
if you think it shouldn't matter, RGL have made it clear that invite players are held to higher standards, and this is the 2nd offense. is it really that hard to not tell people to kill themselves, or at least apologise afterwards?
You gotta be kidding me, I can't even imagine the amount of "kys" or whatever other sort of shittalking gets dropped in chat on a daily basis in the whole gaming community.
We all get mad while playing, we all say bad stuff that we don't really mean.
I'm not saying it's ok to talk trash, especially tell somebody to kill himself, but doing it in a damn scrim that isn't even related to a RGL server or anything shouldn't lead to an actual league ban. It's pure madness
Wow, might as well rename RGL into "Third Reich" at this point, it would suit better
