I've done about 2 months of research for earphones & headphones, and the general consensus is that the best quality for money earphones you can buy are the Vsonic VC02 for 40$. It might be a little bit above your budget, but I would probably suggest them. If you're not willing to dish out 10$ then the aforementioned Brainwave M2/Visang R03 are probably your best bet.
