#27 are steroids worth it ? in Off Topic

as far as i can tell you can manage many of the side effects of steroids (balding, impotence) with more drugs and treatments, which in the long run will take a toll on most bodies

#3 Laptop Keyboard Help in Hardware

I've taken all the troublesome keys off and checked for and did not find any kind of debris, but because the keys that stop and start working are all in the same region and all stop working at the same time I don't think it's a problem with any individual switch. From what I know about keys (no idea if this holds true on proper keyboards) this suggests a problem in the circuitry closer to the computer than the individual switches. I think that the next step is to reseat the cable but I'm going to make sure it's a problem with the keyboard and not the computer with an external keyboard first. The laptop is a lenovo x240

#1 Laptop Keyboard Help in Hardware

This just started happening recently where the keys on the left side of the keyboard (a, q, z, 1, esc, `, etc.) either stop working or have to be pressed hard/for a long time to register. Restarting doesn't necessarily help since the problem sometimes persists at the login prompt, but it usually goes away after a while and then comes back, as far as I can tell with no rhyme or reason. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'll probably reseat the cable, but since this takes a while I wanted to know if this was even worthwhile and whether I should just get a new keyboard.
