dflameDamn, I might just go to this if enough people go. Last year was so much fun.
Enough people will go. I will make this the biggest TF2 LAN in a long time. I promise.
Being the tournament director for GXL and the TF2 tournament itself, I have a giant announcement for this coming very soon.
Stay tuned.
You can do it by the second by watching when the medic spawns and subtracting 40 seconds from the total time left in the map, or you can compare it to how much uber you have currently. The latter method doesn't work if you're dead while the medic is still up, you can compensate by seeing how long you are dead for. For example, if the medic spawns while you're still dead, and you spawn in 10 seconds, then they will have 25% advantage.
40 seconds = building uber as fast as possible
30 seconds = building kritz as fast as possible
The total maptime left method is probably the safest, but I don't always use that. It depends on a handful of situations and what's going on. Do what works for you, as long as you have a really good idea of where your uber is vs their uber.

PLEASE SPEND AN HOUR AND A HALF REVIEWING MY 3K ON STREETHOOPS. THAT'S THE ONLY IMPORTANT THING IN THAT DEMO.
gg to streethoops though. We made a lot of costly mistakes and it hurt us. duwatna dunked. :<
I might pug as scout or something, just to do something different if I'm bored or if a friend asks me to pug with them. I pretty much never pug as medic though. I always try to put myself in a serious environment as medic (scrims / matches), but that's just a personal preference. I do suggest newer medics to pug, because it'll help you work on your positioning and other things.
Forty-TwoThat showmatch was amazing to watch, both teams put up a great show with great plays! Even though it wasn't for any league and the ping always makes it so that you have to take these showmatches with a grain of salt, this was the most excited I've been for any game in a while. Impressed with both teams :>
Nah, it didn't have much to do with ping, especially when they played us on NY. Their pings were pretty good to NY, so I felt it was a fairly level playing field. They would very likely beat us on LAN right now, so I don't want anyone to discredit us/them here about ping. They are very good, and they played well. And holy shit, Kaidus obliterated us on Process, lol. But I agree, that was a lot of fun :3!
MIG, COME TO AMERICA PLS.
gg :D we kinda dropped the ball on granary but kaidus is amazing.
WaldoOh, I had been searching for the wrong thing then. Thanks for pointing that out. Are there any specs for these that I should be looking at, or is it more of a build quality/reviews thing. I'm guessing that a Wii doesn't put out more than 800x600
Truthfully, I'm not really sure. I don't think you can go wrong with it as long as you know that it's an RCA to VGA converter box and not some cable. A cable wouldn't convert anything here, so that would be useless to you. The one I linked should be just fine, and it seems like a fair price.
This thread has a big discussion about Wii resolution: http://www.gamespot.com/forums/system-wars-314159282/wiis-max-resolution-27237906/
to be clear, the link you provided in your post goes from VGA to RCA. You need it the other way around (RCA to VGA), such as this.
lol, right in the description: For example, if you want to hook your Wii up to a monitor with a VGA port, youll need this converter.
WaldoIs there any practical way to do RCA to VGA then?
other than what you posted in your original post, then no.
Dear clockwork and b4nny,
Stop shooting our meat.
