#52 I have a server for you! in TF2 General Discussion

I introduced the server to ETF2L:

I also linked them to this thread. So if you want to let the ETF2L community know stuff about the server, feel free to post there.

#9 Limit Steam Download Speeds in TF2 General Discussion
reilly301stspartan, that's interesting. My internet speed approximation is in bits, but my download cap is in bytes. I wonder if it goes by how ISPs in your country commonly label things? Canada here.
VirulenceWhere's the option that lets me automatically opt out of the 2GB surprise game update on the 31st of the month when I have 500MB of data left? You can disable auto updating somewhere.

It's the same for me, but usually providers advertise with bits here. Which is weird because Bytes really is what you care for so that makes more sense for down- and upload speeds.
Maybe it's bits only just in the US? Can we have more contries in here for comparison?

#4 Limit Steam Download Speeds in TF2 General Discussion

That's interesting that you have it in bits and I in bytes. I wonder why.

#1 Video tags in Off Topic

This is a test.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-0GqitEs_k

EDIT: It is working. Disregard thread. For the past 30 minutes, every video I would paste and videotag into this forum would link to a completely different and unrelated video I never watched. I cannot explain why.

Nice flow. Too basic hook though for my taste, can get repetitive fast.

#17 Deathadder right click sensitivity in TF2 General Discussion

Thanks for the feedback, will get some compressed air and try to clean it properly. If I look underneath the mouse buttons I cannot see any dirt that could be triggering the button but since the buttons go so far back I guess you cannot really tell. Will clean and see if it goes away.

#8 Video Cards for Sale in Hardware

I believe the mere size of your case matters a lot. If you are considering SLI anyway, your case should be rather big. I had a VERY small case on my last computer. My GTX 570 would run hot to the point of shutting down the computer to prevent damage if I didn't manually turn up the coolers to 100%.
Now I have a HD7990 and my computer couldn't even care less about the heat. On one hand I guess it has really good coolers. But the bigger case really helps too I believe.
You can also test the cooling capacities of your case by manually cranking up the coolers of your card and see how well it cools down under heavy use.
