There has been something that has been bothering me for a while. When people think "overpowered," they think of the Reserve Shooter or the Phlogistinator, but you know that the real problem is? The Sun on a Stick. The Sun on a Stick is WAY too overpowered. The weapon has been in the game for a very long time, and the fact that it has gone this long without some sort of nerf seriously bothers me. The Sun on a Stick encourages teamwork between a Pyro and a Scout, and in a team-based shooter, that should not be happening. Pyro and Scout have two completely different playstyles, and a Pyro can easily light up an enemy and a Scout can swiftly take him out. The Sun on a Stick is essentially a Flare Gun melee for the Scout that doesn't set people on fire. If that isn't overpowered, I don't know what is. So Valve, here's my appeal to you: nerf the Sun on a Stick so that it's no longer completely overpowered. I propose a 99% damage penalty, and a -50% damage resistance on equip. We can keep the whole "crits enemies on fire" thing though, that's a neat little quirk.
