Been lurking (forums, discord servers, pug groups, etc) and everyone seems generally distant towards everyone, not really liking to associate with anyone outside of their circle jerk. Why do people seem unfriendly, or is this just me?

Because I'm high functioning and also why would you ALLOW this behavior in your community, I feel like it's counter-productive to a community to just ignore/allow disgusting behavior, don't you think? I'm by no means suggesting a witch hunt, but I'm definitely suggesting calling people out to people who do these kinds of things with minors.

Just saying, there are roughly 10-12 other people in the community that do this I'm pretty sure. I called this like a few months ago before completely leaving the community. Another thing, if you guys just paid attention I guarantee you'd be able to figure out who's greasy, they don't try hard at all to hide their weird shit at all.

In all seriousness, RG fires a lot faster than in any other AFPS side for maybe CPMA (never got too into CPMA not really sure) and deals 75 damage per shot, which is RIDICULOUS. PG can damn near be fired like it's hitscan mid range, but is stronger when used at a more mid-long range into a Rail. Rockets have less impact overall than Shotgun does because of damage differences and the "stun effects" in the game, so you wanna be prioritizing SG more over the RL in close range fights.

You're typically going to be prioritizing LG due to the retarded dps and the constant "stun effect" to force a player who makes really bad decisions to commit to bad fights or to punish +forwarding players. This applies to damn near every game mode maybe side for Funpark games because those are memes.

This. The problem with arena shooters is that there typically aren't any motives for your typical newbie player besides improving for the sake of improving. Basically you want to be the top player on the leaderboard at all times, or you want to beat most players in Duels. What modern shooters do that AFPS doesn't really do is it gives a sense of self-importance to players at the start in team modes and it provides a clear and concise objective that the players have to achieve in order for the game to be finished.

The arena shooter problem is that you're forced to learn map specific gimmicks, proper weapon usage, if you're not timing you literally won't be able to do shit and movement for the sake of moving is also generally really stupid because of how easily punishable +forward is. All of these you can learn more and more depth over and it makes ever having fun in these types of games really difficult.

If you play with friends and don't think about it, it's fun tho.
