To give an idea, this was the last tournament I hosted; https://challonge.com/ReflexIntifada
https://challonge.com/communities/ReflexHeavensArena
I'm hosting a series of tournaments monthly for Reflex Arena (arena shooter) for both 1v1 solo/duel and 2v2 duo/dubs. I'm posting these here to fish for players that might be interested. The information should be posted per page on challonge, but the dates are Saturday, October 26th (1v1) and Saturday, November 2nd (2v2) at 7pm EST. This is a community-driven event, so these are being hosted purely for entertainment purposes.
There is no making AFPS appealing to younger audiences let alone older audiences. The playerbases for Quake Live and Quake Champions collectively is <1000 players. When you actually interact with the split community for AFPS, you realize that the majority of the playerbase don't actually enjoy playing the game and would rather bant on Discord servers, then if you look deeper you realize they don't even enjoy interacting with each other and are hyper ego-driven. 2gd as much of a schmuck he is, was probably learning this the hard way when he was poorly acting as a bridge between that broken community and the development for Diabotical. They don't know what they want, they don't know why they do what they do, that is your typical AFPS player and there are really only a handful of respectable players at best, the majority of them being semi/pro. But of course... the most tolerable people would end up being those that are capable of navigating a community of personality problems at least enough to become successful at the game without crashing and burning. I have no idea if this crude version of tribalism is common to 1v1s, or if the asocial nature of the game just appeals to these kinds of people, but... You go play AFPS for 7+ years and tell me what you make of it.
wwhat is the funniest tf2 drama in your opinion? preferably with links :)
mine
One that's automated and not ran by a bunch of mentally ill people that have been psyopped by the cia
I haven't been inside playing tf2 in months, all I do is go out and stare at boobs

KissakalaSo like when you aim (move mouse crosshair on enemy) and press your left mouse button (it say "click") then enemy have red numbers and disappear on screen.
Cheers,
Byte
Finnish people act this way because their winters are harsh and they are lacking in vitamin D
Damn that's crazy, so who's next?
