reillyI have bind for ever map and config on my server in my auto exec. This isn't the same as what you're saying, but if the streamer generally only plays on one server that they have rcon to, then this is way faster.
So for example, in my configIf I want to play badlands, I just type badlands into console.alias mge "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel mge_training_v7" alias badlands "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_badlands" alias granary "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_granary" alias snakewater "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_snakewater" alias gullywash "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_gullywash_final1" alias viaduct "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel koth_pro_viaduct_rc3" alias metalworks "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_metalworks_rc3" alias gpit "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_gravelpit" alias process "rcon_password pass; rcon changelevel cp_process_rc2"
You can do the same with server configs (esea_push), or connecting to servers.
You should alias rcon_password in case you ever need to use a different server in the future, that way you don't have to replace 10 of them, just one :P
It's actually stronger when you're pushing into an enemy's last point than when you're holding your own. The ability to trap up all [major] exits and destroy traps at the same time is pretty powerful. You won't need the mobility from jumps because you're only pushing into last, but of course if you get pushed back you're in trouble.

london_callingdo power rankings? maybe. i think it'd be more fun to do them with a couple people rather than just do them alone.
You could do a podcast type thing where you just get some people together who know the division and talk about it on stream. That would be a bit easier than writing it out week after week, and potentially more fun. Just a thought.
I only made it to 5 this time, that wasn't nearly enough.

That's not exactly the story.
While I wasn't entirely thrilled with my team's decision (bape wanted to ffw right away, I told everyone to calm down and give you guys 5 minutes), you waited until 20 minutes after the match time to try and get a sub in. Then you said he wasn't even paid, so we had to wait even longer. I'm all for playing matches, but it would be nice if you had a backup ready to go at 10 minutes after the match time, not 25.
Either way, I was looking forward to the match, we practiced hard all week for it. Kind of a crappy way to make playoffs if you ask me.
Pretty sure it's the same reason kids get baseballs signed. Only more lame.
Not to mention, Valve could easily implement a basic guide to "competitive" TF2. There would be a HL and a 6s queue, and at the selection screen it would explain the basic concepts or something. Then they could just link to some guides or something during pregame, I dunno. It's doable.
BLoodSiresynchroBLoodSireNow if only he sold it to valve like they wanted and this was integrated into the loading menu of the game...Probably wouldn't have to worry about server costs then. Please elaborate Justin, I was not aware of this. :O
Rumor has it that Valve was interested in buying lobby back when it was released. Floormaster said no. Later he dissapeared and nothing more ever happened. Whether this is more than a rumor I can't say for sure, but I would place my bets on it being true.
I don't know about that, Valve already made their matchmaking system. If they wanted a lobby-style thing, it probably would have come with that; all they'd have to do is throw a "competitive" option into the mix.
NY Strip, medium rare with some simple salt and pepper, cooked in some butter with garlic mashed potatoes.
Or Totino's Pizza Rolls, they're pretty even.

Plus I get to learn about sweet new games like DRAKENSLANG ONLINE.
If he put one banner ad on the site he could probably make back a ton of money. I don't know why people are against stuff like that, I have no problem with people putting ads on their site if it means I can use it for free.
