SetsulYes, what exactly is the question you are trying to ask?
gpu recommendations
also the newegg reviews said that a good chunk of those mobos came DOA or they stopped working shortly after but that could just depend on newegg

Setsul#2808
should i worry at all about the bad reviews of the mobo in newegg
also other things i've thought before posting that, i was thinking of getting the ryzen 1600 (non x) but i don't think the extra cores and threads would do that much to tf2 so i went for the 1500x / 2400g
the reason why i gravitated toward the 2400g is because of the igpu, so idk if the 2600 would be interesting to me assuming that, like you said, i wouldnt have a igpu
if i ever want to make upgrades and buy a GPU, it would prob be around christmas, so by then the gpu prices would be a bit better right?
i guess i could ask about GPUs while i'm here, so i'm not really interested about anything above 1080p, also iirc tf2 is a very cpu-dependent game so i dont think getting a good gpu would matter here but, like i said, it would give me the opportunity to play other games in the future when i burn out (which will most likely happen at one point)
i've been looking to build a brand new pc since january and in july i will most likely build it, my budget is around 740$ but i dont wan't to spend all of it so keep that in mind
i'm mostly looking for second opinions since i think i already have my parts picked out, except for my motherboard (and maybe a case)
besides tf2, i don't play that many games, and tf2 is just a passtime for me really so i don't want to spend all my budget on this, although getting a decent enough pc could be nice to maybe play other games in the future
idk if i want to buy a GPU in the future since like i said i don't play that many games besides tf2
honestly as long as i get like 120+ fps constant in tf2 i'll be happy with this
i don't plan to overclock my cpu since i'm too scared to fuck it up and destroy it, so i don't think i would care if my mobo is oc capable or not, also i doubt i would ever need more than 8gb of ram, so 2 ram slots is prob fine for me, and even if i had to upgrade my ram, i'll prob just get separate 8gb stick and keep one of the 4gb sticks (i dont know if that affects performance)
talking about cases, i don't want anything with tacky rgb, i've been mostly looking at the 270r since it looks nice and it's not eye melting
i'm open to the idea of an itx / mini-atx case/board
any help is appreciated
hi hello premature bump just to say i might have time to play this summer instead of just lft'ing sub

i love pissy : )
unskilledi did a clean up and installed 6.5.0-b8 and now my class cfg's aren't reading, any idea why that could be?
also, when i type 'exec scout' or 'exec scout.cfg' for instance, this is what appears
] exec scout
Compact freed 966656 bytes
'scout_c' not present; not executing.

just delete the class specific CFG's that come in the vpk file and use the ones u had before
heck
