#27 opinions on gunnars? in Hardware
TheFragiletoothI thought smaka used gunnars to help reduce eyestrain/the impact of his color blindness. Maybe he'll make an appearance here.
Yeah, he used them. I think he strictly uses them for snowy maps for his color blindness. I'm pretty certain he only used them for the snow maps on LAN and didn't use them otherwise. It made it a little more bearable for him, but that's about it.

Pretty much this. They do help with eye-strain but I don't typically have issues with eye-strain. They do somewhat help me discern red from blue on maps with overly bright textures (mainly snow maps) but they don't seem to have any effect on colors for me on other maps, so I haven't used them since coldfront/viaduct were in rotation.

If you have eye-strain issues, they definitely do help, but if your vision is degrading, I would sooner recommend you see an optometrist and get lenses to correct the issue. If you have a prescription, you can get glasses from somewhere like http://www.zennioptical.com with yellow tinted lenses, etc. to help relieve eye-strain.

#12 What do you guys think of Alienware laptops? in Hardware

I've had no issues with my alienware m17x r3 laptop. It's been working well for 2 years. It cost me less than anything similar offered by any other maker.

No need for an apology. Blink said he was going to do an exit interview and I told him to wait until you guys ask for him. He listened as well as he normally does. >:(

#16 PSU, PC case and RAM? in Hardware

I know you're trying to be helpful, and this is likely going to sound rude, but periods have an amazing propensity for eliciting coherent ideas.

Throw a period at the end of your sentences and move those random capitals to the beginning of the sentences and you're golden.

#21 Reverse sniper script in TF2 General Discussion
DrPloxosmakersThe medic autoheal script won't work for this because with medic, you need to constantly hold the button, whereas with sniper, holding the button will cause you to zoom in and out constantly. I do think this can be accomplished without wait commands, but it's going to take multiple aliases to function properly. I'll see what I can whip up when I get home (in 10-12 hours).there's actually just an option that you only have to click the target once built into the game.
Sure, it's lazy mode, but it works.

Yeah, I've used that option. Indeed it does suck.

What I meant was that the medic autoheal script is constantly sending the +attack command and only stopping when you click. Trying to use that for sniper wouldn't work because you need to issue +attack2, but then immediately issue -attack2 to prevent the sniper from scoping and unscoping repeatedly.

#7 connecting second monitor to computer in Hardware
DrewPorkChopyou wont get video from connecting a 2nd monitor to your motherboard.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=vga%20to%20dvi&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=20

there is a list of vga to dvi connectors.
If you have the drivers installed for both your onboard graphics and the dedicated GPU then you CAN run 2 different monitors for each GPU. You'll just run into less problems if you run both monitors on a single card.

Neither of these are really accurate. Whether or not you can use the integrated video while also using a discrete card depends on the motherboard's chipset and the CPU. If you're using an Intel CPU with integrated video, you should be able to utilize both simultaneously. You're not necessarily any more likely to run into extra problems by having a separate GPU power each monitor.
