Do we know who casters are? If no one is available (and I really hope they are), I'd be glad to co-cast with some other people.

#4 Newbie Mixes in Events

Don't forget: we'll have informal (or are they now formal?) newbie PUGs (Pick Up Games) after 12 EST for anyone who can't make the original time slot or who just want to stick around.

#15 Pushing out of Last in Q/A Help
buckweetshredderHey everyone! I just had another awesome time with the Newbie Mixes (they're so much fun!), but our team occasionally had trouble successfully pushing out of last. We were backcapped three times :(

Is there a specific player who always stays back on last to watch? Does it depend on the map? I've heard roamer should stay, or sometimes scout, or sometimes pyro, or sometimes heavy. Is there ever a case where you leave two people back on the larger lasts (process/snake)? On which maps should the demo leave last stickied as he moves up, or should he just let another player take care of it?

Sorry for the wall of questions. Gek was getting pretty mad at our team (reasonably so... we kept losing to backcaps) and I was wondering what you guys think.

Football playing, private school going, MN residing, shredder?

Um.. nope! You commented this in my stream last night, and I'm not sure who you're thinking about... but it isn't me. That said, thanks for tuning in!

#4 Movement in TF2 General Discussion

#2 the clockwork vid is great! that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Is there any pattern to the "jump to dodge" or is it mostly just random?

#1 Movement in TF2 General Discussion

I usually play a lot of soldier, but recently, I've been trying to get into scout. My aim is improving, but I don't think my movement is. Do you guys have any tips? 6s v. HL? facing demo v. scout v. soldier? Any drills? Thanks :D

#2 Randy & Chums vs Crunchy Bunch cast in TF2 General Discussion

Late response, but are you guys still casting? I'd love to join up and help with maybe some ESEA-O games. If not today, then for sure tomorrow/future.

Yes! Love these :) What's happening after 11 CST? Is everyone leaving or will people still be around to play? I'm getting home late so I would love to play later with maybe some west coast people (or east-coasters who like TF2 more than sleeping)

My editing experience is rather limited now but I really want to learn.

I also chose bp because they are recent... If people want to cover mix^ or Mihays I'd love that!

#17 BP Casting and Frag Movie in TF2 General Discussion

Sup guys! It's pretty clear I went a bit overboard with the dick-sucking in the original post.i was just tryna be positive because I don't really know this community super well (I'm pretty new)... But im actually pretty chill and relaxed, and im usually up late nights playing... it was just a crazy idea I had, but if anyone is actually interested in helping I'm down pretty much whenever.. just add me and Iill med you for a while while we chat :P (just a bit of dick-sucking there haha)

also, I'd kinda like to gauge interest in even doing this. Like I know all the good casters already covered the game, so it wou ld pretty much bust be for fun for the casters and maybe the three viewers on the stream/YouTube vid.

It seems like the bp frag video is getting more traction, and honestly, that even sounds better to me haha.

Anyone have any favorite plays from this season?

#1 BP Casting and Frag Movie in TF2 General Discussion

Hey everyone!
Shredder here.

This last invite season, BP was dominant. Amazingly dominant. 16-0 dominant.

Before the next ESEA LAN (April 20), I would like to:
1) Cast all of BP's games from this season alongside interesting people (that means YOU)
Why? a) To revel in BP's great play b) To gain casting experience c) To promote competitive TF2
2) Create a frag video of BP's incredible ESEA-I season
Why? We all like seeing great plays. BP certainly had many this season. Help me make a frag movie centering on BP and maybe we can get it shown at LAN?

Why does this matter to you?
If you're like me, you love competitive TF2, and you love talking. You've watched Sal and Slin, Arx and Beta, cbear and djc and thought "Man, I wish I could do that!" This is your opportunity. You can practice shoutcasting in a calm environment. The games are sure to be great – thank BP for that – and why not have some fun one weekend casting these games with me and others? Who knows? Maybe we could even get a real caster (Slin, Sal, etc.) to stop by and give us a few tips, either in game, on stream, or on Youtube.

If you're interested at all, please respond to this or send me a PM so we can set up times/dates/etc.

Here's to BP!
