This happens to me a lot too, but it also occurs when I try to connect to public servers, and even when I'm just trying to access my loadout. Not sure what it is, but it started happening after the last update.

Mr_PerfectTechnobladePhrakturei dont play on alts because im liked. i play on alts because im infamous for playing demoman/trying too much.
If you have to use alt accounts because you're so gay in MGE word has spread, you probably ought to change the way you MGE.

I've always enjoyed playing against Phrakture in MGE, he plays exactly like demomen play in a match, he goes for the air stickies and then puts the stickies down around him. I honestly dont see anything wrong with that style of play, every time that I MGE him I feel that I improve because I'm playing against someone better than me, I used to only get 1 or maybe 2 points, but now when I MGE him I'm getting around 8 or so.
It's not his style of play thats bad its your attitude to it. If someone beats you they beat you, unless they are hacking or cheating then it shouldnt matter because they showcased how they did something you either couldnt adapt to or couldnt over come.
Yes, demomen in an actual match stand in valley and force you to come to them. I mean, phrakture is my friend and I won't even go as far as to say that kinda playstyle is represented in game.

If someone is jumping or trying to surf your rockets in mge, all you have to do is shoot in front of them, and they'll just get bounced up a very short distance from the ground. Learning to do both that and direct people is a really valuable skill set imo.

I can't play heavy :(. On topic, if you can't find a team as registration draws near, why not try making a team with a few friends and testing the waters like that? There are historically less teams in the seasons that begin during the fall semesters of most schools, so it might be harder to break into the scene at the moment. Best of luck though!
