yea it is. it can affect seeding through out the season. similar to match fixing like when the iBP guys threw in a match they all got banned for life (which is not a reasonable amount of time for their bans). one year is completely justified. IMO I think one year is fine but i feel also banning them for 1 season and forfeiting them of their prize money or reducing it by half is also fine then if they throw again follow through with the 1 year ban.
