Just drove through a southern part of Georgia this morning. There was a billboard ad that was giant, white, with the line #secede on it. A message from The League of the South. Scary really

Yeah Miami is a hassle and there's a good chance the venue you set could be torn down and rebuilt at least twice before the date even comes close. Broward Area would be better, even if a lot of people voted Miami could we at least reconsider it with discussion? Brad makes the best points
If you want a show with nothing but hilarity, try Nichijou. It's very weird but very funny in its weirdness.
If you want an actiony kind of show try Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
If you want a semi sci-fi kind of show try Denno Coil
If you want a hilarious but slice-of-lifey story about two brothers who aspire to become astronauts that outdo each other in mankind's history of traveling across the solar system try Uchuu Kyoudai
That pre-round camera work when it pans is really artistic
I don't know it might be just me but whenever I play gravelpit it's rarely just soldiers camping up top. Most of the fight is around the bridge and the 2 ramps connecting to C, or near the rock.
yttrium captures a really pretty and minimalistic style, I genuinely love them
Flash sale came up for Hero Siege, it's a pretty simple arena-like hack and slash dungeon crawler, kind of like Binding of Isaac but in a totally different art direction.

$0.89 on this sale, I've enjoyed many hours of this game. It maintains your experience gained and stat/ability investment so when you start a new game to delve 120+ waves down, you're not starting from level 1, but whatever level you've invested in your character. If you die, you don't lose any investments. I'm a level 90-some Viking on one of my files, you can have multiple files of the multiple classes that you use to play, with 5 levels of difficulty, and great levels.
89 cents is a huge bargain.
The DLC is good but pricey so up to you, DLC benefits (in the long run, the DLC benefits are currently in beta) are allowing co-op play (but currently require someone to host from his/her computer, you need to have open port and other things like that set up), and once they've worked out some more co-op updates, there will be chances to play on game-servers with friends for co-op.
I tried to make a rocket trail going upward and exploding but I couldn't get a good feel for the particles emitting from the explosion, but I think something like that would get the point across and look alright.
Also I wouldn't mind the words "drop" as an emote as long as they had the same effect of uber particles fizzing and a +2 floating somewhere amongst it
My senior year of high school was really eventful for me in terms of accomplishments
I was Editor-in-Chief for my Yearbook (after 3 years of being the copy editor).
I designed the T-shirt for my state's National Honor Society and the big state-wide meet they do every year.
I also designed and finished my Eagle Scout Project and became an Eagle Scout in this same year.
THEBILLDOZERProcreativeI'm Buddhist by behavior and a skeptic by ideologywhat does this even mean
ProcreativeTrying to be ethical non materialist and consistently open to new ideas or at least their possibilities. I fail pretty hard most of the time but I aspire.
ComangliaThough it's possible that these quantum fluctuation could possibly create another big bang which also means that our current universe could be MUCH older than we would expect if our Big Bang came of as a result of the heat death of the last universe assuming laws where the same of course.
This idea of the universe dying and reviving itself sounds very nice in a way. If a full reset could happen where the particles get placed in a particular way that makes the next universe start fresh could give hope for time travel to another universe's lifespan feasible
pro's looking at it from a more philosophical perspective, which is where occam's razor is a little more relevant.
Materialism could also simply be the definition we have for something that may have been overseen by a higher power in control of it all. All the "meshing of matter" that led to our existence may very well have been guided by this power.
One argument made from this uses a metaphor of walking down a forest and seeing a bundle of sticks in a pile. One can safely assume that as a result of weather (heavy storms, wind), the sticks just happened to pile on top of one another. However, if you walk down a forest and see a Fence made from branches and sticks, you would think something put that there intentionally. This example is seen in certain elements as cells, and argues that cells couldn't come to be just from the meshing of matter from outer space.
Going deeper into the origin of cells, it seems odd to wonder how the matter of the universe at the beginning of it all could allow for single celled organisms to spawn, and evolve, to create even more intricate and complex particles that eventually became self-aware.
What would it take to create a living cell if all you had at your disposal was heat and atoms? What calls this into being?
This is going a little off topic, but I'm just kind of talking about my thoughts on materialism being a series of accidents as an unfounded joke
