Make sure you have the proper drivers, that's the first thing I can think of.

Is Matchmaking going to be pay-to-play?

Frankly their limited account feature would take out most of the problem (if they used that as a requirement), no reason for them to implement a need to pay for comp mm unless they REALLY want to make it profitable. Considering that CS doesn't need payment I would actually be surprised if they added payment requirements, especially with the feedback from duck journals (hint: not good).

The potential is HUGE, but as Comanglia said it's very dependent on how it is implemented. I'm very excited for what Valve does no matter how they do it (unless it's mannpower only smh) but if they do it right we're looking at incredible new player numbers and possibly increased sponsor involvement, maybe at the levels it was in 2012 with eMg and coL or better (although this point also depends on how ESEA plays it). Hype!

#14 Valve has removed paid mods in Off Topic

According to the announcement (it has a section titled "Why we thought this was a good idea" lol) Valve wanted to make it so that modding could be a full time job. Huh.

Not sure where this goes, but I'll post it here.
Valve has decided to remove paid mods from the Steam Workshop following huge community pushback and LOTS of controversy.

stabbyPardon the necro...

The FLAT mod does seem to be working still...but with a major bug popping up consistently.

Part of the time it works perfectly, but sometimes on loading a map a pattern of crosshatched lined appears upon all the textures.

Does anyone else experience this? Any ideas for a fix?

Thanks!

PS
The models mod prevents the spy's cloaked viewmodel from being transparent, so there's no way to tell if your DR has been proc'd :(

it believe it has something to do with texture downscaling
if u get really close u can see that the "crosshatching" is actually a bunch of really small textures
i think it's a problem for everyone and iirc there is no way to fix it for sv_pure servers (maybe preloading might work iunno)
