they said they would release all of their improvements before the update to gauge community response before a proper update, so im holding out hope that this time they get it. this is the first time theyve done something like that iirc.

i think it can be pretty easily proved by looking at ips or location data, if i remember correctly steam does look at that if you claim a hijack or that your account was being used by someone else.
