#16 lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

He clicks people with 150 ping, in their heads, feet and in the meat. was the roamer for my team this past season, he's a really nice guy who plays pretty much everything, and he changes his name and avatar all the time. He's most at home on Roamer, imo. He's pleasant to be around and makes any mumble a fun place to be. He hates granary but his heavy plays on it are pretty sick tbh. Pick him up.

#4 Framesh1ft LFT Open Med in Recruitment (looking for team)

Frame was my medic for 2 seasons, he's very good at healing his teammates. I'll be honest, when I picked him up, his mechanics and gamesense were definitely weaker than average, coming from being a sniper main in Highlander to a 6s medic in a ugc silver/lower open team. However with a lot of scrims, demo reviews and dedication, i'm proud to say this man has worked his ass off to become a very solid medic, and he's succeeded. He's also a pretty insane sniper, might just start the new meta of medic offclassing to sniper. :P

not saying he'll do this or anything

This man is one of the most wonderful people you will meet, and he's incredibly nice. He's quick to take the blame in a bad situation and he's always willing to hear out criticism and advice. He's a man of many words but you won't hear one rude one come out of his mouth.

Just make sure you buy him a walker and some dentures, because this old man is going to need them.
He might also call you at 3 in the morning drunk. Maybe.

Definitely pick him up. You won't regret it, I didn't.

#4 ScruffMcGruff LFT Scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

This man is a spy main. OK OK don't stop reading there, there are some positives too. This man is one of the most dedicated gamers around. He loves to sit in mumble with his team and talk pretty much all the time. He's very good at scout, his dm is very good and he's got pretty nice gamesense to back him up. He's a HUGE fan of memes, so whenever you're on a team with him, please spout memes and call him a filthy spy main. (he loves that)

Overall though, he's one of my best friends and he's very good at pretty much everything. He also bought hats for my entire team at one point. The amount of generosity in one man is crazy. Just don't leave him hanging when he asks you to join mumble and you'll be set.

It was nothing but a pleasure to be on a team with this man for 2 seasons.

ALSO this man is very good at soldier MGE. He hits stupid directs all the time. Very nice person to chill and MGE with in mumble. Pick this man up, please.

#1 ragetf_ lft pocket in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hi! I'm Rage (not the one that was on bwatbwatbwat, I heard hes really cool though), I main Pocket. I played for All Blue this past season, and we went 8-8 in open. This was my first season of ESEA and now that i've got a taste of it, I want to play it again. However, my team died tonight, unfortunately. I loved my team but we all had different goals and ideas and in the end, it didn't work out. So, i'm here....

I'd like to think I could play mid-high open but I definitely have a lot to learn. I'd really like to play on a team that is very nice, scrims a lot, can take criticism and won't leave mumble after a scrim if it goes poorly. My team this season was like that and I enjoyed them very much.

I've main called for literally every team I've been on, I feel very comfortable in a main calling position, but I would be willing to share the position if that's what you're looking for.

I can play both 'vacuum' pocket where I take a lot of heals, or I can play very aggressive low heals gunboats pocket. I can adapt very well, it's one of the few things I pride myself on. (I have very low self confidence)

I'm a very available person when it comes to scheduling, my past teams have all scrimmed 4-5 nights a week without any issues. I'm 18 and in College, so any curfews or things like that don't apply here. I live on East Coast (EST)

#30 2/14/15 Newer Open teams, how's your midseason? in TF2 General Discussion

WALL OF TEXT INCOMING

manaHow's the difficulty of schedules and the new matchups thus far?

Let's see.. my team has had a really rough past few weeks. We've lost 1 match on Viaduct, 2 matches on gully and 1 match on metalworks. However our morale has stayed relatively high for the most part, which is good.

No johns, I won't really make excuses as to why we lost these games, for the most part it was honestly just the other team being much better than us. When we were outclassed, some of the teams were very nice and polite about it, and just finished it quickly. Others.. not so much. I won't give names as I find that just fuels the fire, but we've had a few teams be very bad mannered against us, which isn't very fun. I guess that just comes with playing a game competitively.

manaIf your team died (I know a couple have), what happened (please keep it civil)?

We're still kicking, no death in sight here. We almost died earlier this season around week 3 but I think we're good for the rest of the season now, definitely.

manaWhat has stopped you from improving, if something is?

Our medic went on vacation to go skiing in Colorado for gully week and we had to have a sub medic this week, and he was very toxic and not fun to play with, doing things like running at the other combo w/ an ubersaw and cluttering our comms with very rude things. It's unfortunate but I do think that he had a big part in why our gullywash matches weren't very fun for us.

manaHave you guys been improving a ton since you've started playing in the season?

I can see very big improvements in myself as well as my team. The amount I've personally learned and how much better I've gotten at dealing w/ certain situations as a maincaller is astounding.

I really love my team and I love the experience of open so far, but I do really wish that teams would be more nice about things. We're all playing for the same goal in the end.

manaHas anything on ESEA caused trouble while playing?

Nope! Other than the servers at the very beginning and the weird routing to ESEA servers, we've had a rather alright experience with ESEA.

manaHow do you feel about playing in ESEA?

It's been a lot of fun. Lots of improvement, definitely a huge step up from UGC, being the only prior competitive league I was in.

manaWhat have you noticed about your team that has made it very fun?

I like to make fun of Scruff. In seriousness, our mumble is a really nice environment to be in, typically we're always laughing about something or another. Scrims are fun because while serious, we also can just laugh really hard whenever something hilarious happens.

manaSame question, but what has made you guys improve?

Sticking together and taking criticism well. Pretty much everyone on my team will listen for the most part if you tell them something they're doing wrong, and they fix it. I lucked out with having such great people on my team.

If anyone is interested in scrimming us, just look for ragetf_ on irc, or you can add me on steam. Always looking for scrims.
