for those who dont know the first two genesis tournaments were just about the biggest tournaments of their time, and genesis 3 is now the second largest melee tournament of all time (1828 entrants) behind evo 2015 (1869 entrants)

theres a chubby asian grad student at my university whose name is michael jordan
think he mightve dropped out tho
it's hard to imagine valve somehow preventing people from playing "the other classes" in mm, so people who are hellbent on playing an offclass will just offclass -- i don't see the problem with this. mm doesn't need to represent the highest level of play
JojoTwitchisn't this going to destroy pocket and demo rollouts in MM?
Pocket rollouts don't change too much imo
can the equalizer rollout still be done (make it to mid with reasonable time with a buff) easily? i've always by default reduced my health immediately in spawn (and with all four rockets wearing gunboats) but i know this isn't the only way
BumFreezeim struggling to understand what is the point of these outlines on spawning?
i've noticed that a lot of newer players dont notice when their teammates spawn with them; this is in particular annoying when a medic doesn't notice that i spawned with them
I incorrectly guessed one, it revealed the correct answer (which I guess is reasonable) but when I encounted the same cover again I was allowed to submit the correct answer which is pretty bad
im guilty of googling the artist on a nonzero number of occasions but this is really amusing since i used to be really into music but stopped a couple years ago
made it to fifth today at the time of writing http://www.guessthatalbum.com/members/profile/kevinnxd
if you're basing the idea of "floating around the same skill level" off of the fact that you can't beat teams/people that you couldnt beat 6 months earlier, it's possible that your idea of improvement is skewed. have you ever considered that the very people/teams that you have been trying to beat are just getting better themselves? and that in actuality you are getting better but just not at a fast enough rate to outdo them?
if you feel like this describes you then maybe a more accurate thing to say is that you're not as improving as quickly as the people you play with/against; it's hard to believe that you would not be improving at all if you practice regularly.
of course i'm not disqualifying your request for tips, nothing wrong with asking
what do you mean for work/university? is it just to read documents, email, and browse internet? the most notable tablets that aren't gimmicky (and small) are well over $220
i used to have a dell venue 8 pro, and a windows tablet is kinda neat in the sense that i actually was able to do work on it for about a whole year (microsoft office, mathematica, mostly) but at some point i began to feel that it was just becoming gimmicky (the bluetooth keyboard that i had with it was silly and extremely small) and specifically navigating windows (it ran full windows 8.1) by touchscreen was just annoying. i have since replaced it with a chromebook which has been excellent to me so far.
if you think the windows tablet can work for you then my only advice is to get one thats at least 10 inches (lol) e.g. something from the asus transformer series?
if you're not looking for a 2-in-1 however, do not get a windows tablet. the 2013 nexus 7 is well within budget and notably runs stock android but its a little small. i have zero experience with apple products but a quick look at the ipad minis on amazon shows a couple that are barely over $220
strangely enough i dont think i've ever seen a heavy airshot lol
