I wrote up a short little document talking about how your lighting and shading settings in TF2 can drastically affect your visibility, and how you can change it. For a long time, new players getting into competitive, or already existing advanced players have been using and recommending absolutely horrid and, by all means, destructive and harmful lighting settings. With the massive effect that mastercomfig has on TF2, in terms of performance, these settings have become more accessible and easy to use. If you're interested, give my little write-up a read. Maybe I can convince you to change up your config for the first time in eons!

RGL legal flat textures release

Turns out that JarateKing's CleanTF2plus makes certain textures like grates and windows invisible. I talked with RGL staff, and they said this isn't allowed (Here's proof of that), and would result in a full cheating ban. So to fix this, I made my own!
Here's the aptly named FlatTF2RGL, which keeps things legal by excluding affected textures. I also have a Pre-Compiled VPK for you to use. My version still works on sv_pure servers by keeping the "resized" option to flatten the textures to a 1x1 size.

(The generator only works on Windows, sorry)
