it's infected and you can either try to kill it with broad spectrum antibiotics which are a crapshoot and might not fix it and you'll still lose the tooth but you can put off the extraction for a while
otherwise you need to get it out ASAP or it will abscess and you are at risk for some really nasty and painful infections that will likely lead to your death
