Hey guys, I'm owl. I scrim a lot with some open teams and I'm playing for Pokemanz in CEVO this upcoming season.

I think my medic mechanics are just fine, but I could use a bit of help with positioning and calling.

If any career medics want to give me a bit of a hand I'd definitely appreciate it. Anything from a quick chat to a couple of demo reviews would be awesome. Thanks.

This happened to me a lot when I had an older computer, and upgrading fixed it completely. I don't see anything that would prohibit you from playing well, though. Try fiddling with your DirectX settings?

If someone is jumping their movement is more predictable and you can land directs high on the body so they can't surf them. I feel like I have a much easier time in ammomod when my opponent is jumping.

I got pretty frustrated when I was sitting in granary mid as scout and a demo joined, jumped on crates, and spammed stickies down on me. I switched to soldier after a couple lives and he got upset and left.

It's the most well marketed sport in the US. Compared to faster-moving sports like basketball it's really boring to watch. I have no interest in watching a play, then watching it replayed 3 more times while they set up for the next one. I realize that's maybe an unpopular opinion, but basketball, hockey, and soccer are far more interesting on a strategic level because decision-making happens in real time.

Real talk though, I have no problem with the rule change. Essentially teams would score a TD, kick the PAT, and then get the ball, 4th and 15 on their own 30. They can then punt (simulates the kickoff without all the pesky head injuries) or go for it (simulates the onside kick, which has almost exactly the same success rate as going for it on 4th and 15.

The only issue I'd have with it is that teams with elite receivers could probably get the ball back pretty often by just throwing a jump ball.

Overall the rule change makes the game more exciting, which it sorely needs.
