RJ is the 3rd coolest Filipino I know, and Gilburt is better than me at surfing so this is obviously the best team you could possibly join
i swear if you ban the crossbow i will burn all the invite captains in effigy live on stream do not do this to me
I dunno man, obviously you've got some great players there in Gasol/Kobe/Nash's corpse, but they're old and injuries happen. Plus we don't know how Kobe will come back from the Achilles, which is a notorious career ender. He's one of the most determined guys to ever play, so if anyone can come back, it's him, but it's worth worrying about. Outside of those three though, who do you have? Nick Young? Dude is streakier than my grandpa's underpants. Jordan Farmar? I guess he's the greatest Jewish player ever in the NBA but that's not exactly saying a lot. Xavier Henry? Wes Johnson? It's a team full of lottery busts. It's gonna be a fun team, and they'll definitely win some games they shouldn't, but I don't think you should plan on a playoff spot just yet.
The Lakers are going to win maybe 25 games this season, yo. They're really, really bad.
Don't worry, Silver is gonna gift wrap Wiggins for you. Enjoy the next 10 years.
Also taking Nicholson out when he was 8/9 was hilarious. It's pretty sad to do it that blatantly right at the start of the season.

championship time
(or the 3 seed and another trip to the ECF whatever)
I used an exercise ball as a desk chair for about 4 months last year and while it did help my posture, I ended up having to deal with massive cramps in my calves and feet from balancing myself. Might just be the way I sit (and I am a lot taller than the average person, so I had trouble getting my legs in a comfortable spot), but I'd recommend against it if at all possible.
LoopsOr ignore me and play in Open and dub yourself "an ESEA player" to the people you encounter,
Putting words in people's mouths. People don't sign up for ESEA to brag to their favorite pubs. You can get the same result with UGC.
Playing against good teams is not the only reason to sign up for ESEA. The approximate cost for a player who doesn't go to open playoffs is $30 for a season. That's worth the investment. You play a season in ESEA to figure out the rules and whitelist. How scheduling a match works, and how to navigate the client and use the servers. You play a season in ESEA because if your team does die, you have a season of ESEA experience to fall back on when you're looking.
Don't pretend like scrimming open teams and then playing a completely different map against teams you don't normally compete against is the same or even close to actually spending a season working out the kinks in ESEA.
BaketheBear, I can lay it out like this. You can get better as a team by playing in UGC Steel or Silver or whatever, or you can make that $30 investment and get better as well. Your team might die because you lost a lot in ESEA. Or your team could die because your players moved on to ESEA without you. My recommendation is that if your end goal is to make a successful ESEA team, then make one. The people who will quit on you when you're losing aren't people who you really want to play with, anyways. Consider your money an investment in finding good teammates. Good luck finding a medic, whether you decide to play in ESEA or not.
I'm with leaky.
I wasn't even close to ready for ESEA my first season. Hell, I still might not be, honestly. It's playing against the better players that makes you good. As long as you're confident that you can keep your team together, then go for it. People will leave, but just find the core of your team and stick it out, and you'll be much better because of it.
smakersYouMustMikeI think the general problem with this thread is that it's not specified whether or not this is a specific warning or whether or not this is an expression of the general rule TFTV is going to follow.
In the case of specific targeting, asking we want fuck and mason's team to change their names privately would've been better and ultimately would probably arrive at a solution without the appearance of forcing anyone's hand.
In the case of the general rule as to why some matches aren't being casted I feel like this should've been some kind of article or included in some kind of rule post. This kind of nonchalant forum post doesn't really give the authority it deserves and appears to me, at least, to be directed mainly at the two Main teams mentioned above.
In short, think before you post.
Not to poop in your cheerios, but there is no "general problem" with this thread. The OP was straightforward and should not have warranted a debate. It was pretty clear that nobody was asking/begging/forcing anyone to change team names--the OP simply said that Fog and crew will not be casting any games if your team name is deemed inappropriate for the cast. Simple.
This should have been posted way earlier in this thread
Children of Men is one of my favorites.
Gravity is right there now too
Cuaron is too good
Is this happening? I wanted to play some spooky highlander :(
While it's totally acceptable to post a looking thread for a non-6s class on these forums, you may have trouble finding a team here. Try checking out the UGC forums @ http://www.ugcleague.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?61-Highlander-Players-Looking-for-Teams for a better chance at HL team captains contacting you.
the last clip was insane
