in tf2 at least it starts with the invite spots and then players filter down from there
especially with a cornerstone of the scene dying theres a lot of flux in invite so players who are on the borderline are holding off until they know who's gonna be in invite which is holding back like everyone down to the bottom of IM
if you plan on playing this season and you're not paid up by thursday night youre the reason tf2 is dead
