#63 Is in-game shit talk a good or a bad thing? in Off Topic
DifferBluesNub_DanishI recently decided to start shittalking in scrims and its made things alot more interesting
The thing I love about Connor trash talking while ringing for us is he shit talks other IM teams and wonders why no team wants to try him out.

And then there's this kind of thing. I wouldn't want anyone to see shit talk emanating from my team and be like, "Yeah, what a bunch of shitters. Wouldn't want to play with or against them, really." Ya knooww?

Nonetheless, I think I will probably rescind my hard and fast rule and just call my dudes out when/if they take it too far.

In the end, it's your team, and you as the leader get to decide how the team exists. If you don't want people shittalking, then don't allow it. Just know that like with any hard and fast rule, you may be alienating players who can help your team succeed. You have to decide between picking up the best players and picking up players that fit your mentality. In my experience, it's always better to have a group of people with similar goals and habits.

ChinGooowlThe best shittalk in cs is when you're winning huge but you're doing worst on your team. Guaranteed to have 2-3 people on the other team freaking out @ youis that from personal experience

Have I ever not been carried by you

downpournaw i just find the guy with the least deaths/last one alive the most often and say "lmao this guy iS BAITINGG the fuCKINg out of you!" and then a few rounds after that they'll usually kick him
easiest points of my life

This is good. Or just talking straight to the guy like 'yeah keep baiting your team dude im sure the next 1v4 will work out for you'

If I know the person I'm playing against I will shittalk them mercilessly. If I don't know them, I shittalk just a little bit.
