It is also possible to use minmode to switch between crosshairs, but it does limit them to two different ones. Might also break some HUDs since some of them have minmode support and some don't, most likely it will require some heavy modding.

Use actual IRC application instead of web based ones, like MIRC, leafchat, XChat or Irssi. The problem with web based ones is that they propably use the same IP all the time, so once someone gets banned, everyone using it gets banned.

mumble crashes on launch

Try deleting these folders:
C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\Mumble
C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\Mumble
They may store malformed info that causes the crash.
