bearodactylunless you're clockwork and can always just run in and win 1v1s
The funny thing is, i think he was also one of the smartest scouts in the game.. he just played a style that at its core was high risk high reward, and his skill allowed him to do it against the best teams in the world.
Yo snack send me a demo, I'll review it for you
There's a lot of different ways to model your decision making in TF2 - you can do it very methodically and like a complicated flowchart and this will lead to consistent play, or you can maintain good fundamentals and try to read your opponents and play around that. Personally I like a mix of the two, but what style you play really depends on the role you play within your team.
That being said, kos is 100% right in that decision making is only one part of getting good. Mechanics are super important and if you don't work on them and regularly maintain them they will drop off, and that will hinder your impact on the game.
The approach that worked best for me was to work on my mechanics outside of proper games, and to focus on decision making when I'm actually playing them. Mechanics became second nature, so I could focus on trying to do the right thing all the time in-game.
At the end of the day, its on you. Think about why you didn't hit that shot, why you overextended, why you backed out when you should've committed - and think about what you can do differently in each case. But if you do feel stuck - ask someone for advice, an outside perspective often really helps.

Wtf u racist I'm not Indian I'm a paki
WARHURYEAHThanks thalash buddy, it'd be pretty cool if you could give me feedback regularly because as I don't get any, I just assume that I'm doing a stellar job. Some of the feedback from.other players has been good and some have thanked me for giving an alternative perspective.
I mean, nobody else has complained or given me any feedback apart from "really annoying and sounds like he wants to die".
If you disagree with something as I said you're more than welcome to add me and chat about it. Apart from it being painful some specific examples would be beneficial to me.
Why don't you just ask for feedback after each cast you do? That's what I do and I find it pretty useful.. If you actually want to improve at casting why don't you actively seek the information that will enable you to improve?
edit: Like if you're casting with people that are better casters or have more experience, they will have much better insight into what you did well and what you can work on than the other sources you will get feedback from which will probably be steam friends and twitch viewers..
armadilloany plans for more of these? the seagull one was really fantastic
yeah im (slowly) working on the next one featuring my favourite tf2 player of all time, who has also moved onto NRG overwatch.. SEB 'NUMLOCKED' BARTON
I'm not great at managing my time however, with a full time job, now practising for GA and irl commitments I'm not sure when I'll be able to get this one out, I had taken a couple of days off work a few weeks ago but I didn't make as much progress as I would've liked.. I guess I aim to get it out in like 2-3 weeks?
edit: i think because i dont have much experience making videos it probably takes longer for me than it would other people, but id expect it to be the case that the more of these i make the less time it takes me to make them
Ombrack5th best team in the world, I think there're some flaws here :o)
its a sign.. drop the sponsor and go back to the top5 we all know and love..
knuck
What a ninja rofl, you said pretty much EXACTLY the same thing as me
Everyone seems to be posting about how some player that they know is ranked incorrectly compared to other players.. its like you forget that its a system of statistical analysis that obviously has flaws and uses a very unique and rather interesting metric in 'gilding' - I think this is very cool and a good proportion of the rankings seem to be pretty accurate to me.
Nice work my man!
edit: I think it also showcases how players with playstyles that tend to produce good stats are ranked highly and how other players that have a lot more impact between the lines (stark wouldn't always get crazy stats but he was the best playmaker of all time and SO many of his frags have been very impactful - yet he peaked at 14th place) are not ranked as highly.
LupusHolyshit Nuze, you have destroyed my image of you forever with that pic.
I got that stock photo type shit going on
You should become an organ donor so parts of you will live on and go to those who need them :)
