DavidTheWinnumlockedHildrethI respect this point of view, but it is a big enough reason for me, if the best team in TF2 doesn't even want to keep playing and ditches the game after one of the best TF2 events, it's quite sad for me. Still I am glad they will be there, it will be a sick tournament, if it's successful I hope the legacy of Epsilon TF2 will spread to the next generation who turn up in 2016.

I was hoping I could goad Numlocked into practising though. ;)

Also Masternoob deserves props for stepping in.like I said, once the LoL season ends on the 11th this month I will be practicing TF2 ;)

Epsilon weren't interested in supporting TF2 anymore, and others I contacted weren't interested yet (it is only 1 tournament after all atm). Organisations are quite hesitant to give money for 1 event.

Also pretty much everything clockwork has said. Epsilon vs Reason would be the best competition at DreamHack, or the big names at least. This is to make sure the DreamHack TF2 tournament can happen.

Since a daily update was requested, I'll edit it onto the first post and will edit at the end of each day after today. We're currently at 1 donation of £15.

We are scrimming thu before our official (both streamed), possibly tomorrow too. Will scrim two days a week after thu at least. All streamed.

I'm also going to start playing TF2 more (pickups/dblmixes) as soon as the LoL season ends on the 11th this month.

Teapot_It isn't a pointless debate in this case, there's nothing wrong with asking for a few details so that if people are on the fence about it (for good reason, bash fundraiser) they can know exactly where their donations are going.

I've explained where the money from this fundraiser is going and what other costs there are (which we are going to cover through prize money etc.)

Either donate or don't. There isn't much to argue. We want to compete there and the tournament wants 4 teams. Initially I was just going to drop it and not go to the event, but doing so would mean only a 3 team tournament and sideshow being incredibly out of pocket due to the housing he's booked for all 4 teams.
