one of the only players I've played on a team with who I can legitimately say is really smart in how he thinks about tf2

like not just on an individual micro level but in wanting to improve his team in the long run

it's a rare talent and on top of that he pounds as a combo scout, what's not to like

plus it's fun to not be the oldest person on a team for once!!

for the amount of experience he has he did really well this season, and contrary to what you might see on the forums he's pretty chill as a teammate and always wants to improve and work on his game

I enjoyed playing with dippidy, very loyal guy and receptive to criticism, comms well and works with the team, definitely had some ownage games this season, with a bit more consistency he will pound

occam's razor: most people in this community are trash

this always happens: whenever someone who has taken ludicrous amounts of shit for their identity finally makes an effort post about it they get a decent amount of sympathy, but then the same people find a way to rationalize why every other scenario somehow isn't the same (see: how other trans people in this thread immediately begin being attacked but because they're less likable it makes it ok, the way people see dishsoap say something stupid and people immediately turn it into a "why cant I say that word" thread, etc.)

like ive said before, the same people who posted "im so sorry this happened to u :(((" in the tagg thread turn a blind eye to the actual day-to-day behavior that builds to this sort of thing, or even participate in it themselves

look through the recent post histories of half the people with +frags in this thread and you will see what I mean

real talk I just wanted to say that if I had to pick an MVP this season, it would definitely be phone, dude was a monster the whole time and consistently performed every game

not gonna lie, things were sort of stagnating in the middle of the season with our nazara scout lineup, but he REALLY exceeded my expectations on pocket when we made the swaperooni

I think he was one of the strongest and most consistent performers on the team once he was on soldier tbh, he was always willing to play selfless when necessary but still output a lot of damage at the same time

I agree he should stay on pocket, it's actually pretty rare to find players willing to play it at a high IM and above level who can do so without 30% heals and full waddling and nazara is both willing and able
