there are a lot of great books to recommend in this thread (Catch-22 for instance), but Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clark is possibly the least well known, and it's utterly fantastic, really embodies the true spirit of science fiction
I think it's fair too say that the tf2 community can be extremely selfish and short-sighted, if everyone took a second and just tried to do their part to grow tf2 I think it would be extremely possible

SalamancerI could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure eXtv is always looking for more MoG / GoM producers and editors. It'd be nice to get more of those clips out the door and on youtube, especially if we can't get a top 10 for that month.
it's just annoying to "waste" footage from a league match on mog, I always want to ideally save my best match footage for the commft top 10
I submitted a clip for the april top 10 that didn't make it in because even though the frag happened in april, I submitted it on like may 3rd (it happened the night of april 30th so it would've been basically impossible to submit it before may). the clip sorter guy told me it would be in the may top 10 if anything, since I submitted it in may. whast sense does that make?
and now, the may is probably cancelled, so it won't be in anything :<
