the problem isn't that the best teams in invite aren't still good/relatively stable
the problem is that no new teams ever contest them anymore, because rather than stick together and improve they die, and the players get recycled to new invite teams the next season that finish in the same fucking place as before
if a team just stuck together and improved they'd eventually get to the top. it might take more than a season, but it'd happen.
kermit_Usually it'll start as one player, but it is hard to find a replacement for almost any class that isn't scout. If a demo or pocket from a team quits, there really isn't much talent out there to replace them with.
I don't believe it's as hard as you say if you're willing to explore your options thoroughly and think outside the box when it comes to picking up players. Hell, since the end of last season nNn has changed medics once, changed pockets twice, and changed scouts twice, and they're still a lan contender.
yes, mix^ is p much untouchable right now. people seem to think it's unfair that they have pretty much the best player on every class. however, it's not like they won the lottery or something, each player worked on it for a long time. was platinum always the best solly around, let alone one of the best demos? no, he only started really destroying around s6. was harbleu the best roamer from the beginning? no, he was the butt of a joke for season upon season. was ruwin the best scout around? no, he mained medic, and plays like 16 hours of mge a day.
if teams view mix^ as some insurmountable behemoth then of course they'll never beat them.
