My hard drive died

I am sad boy, my current hard drive just died on me not before bsod twice, I tried using my old hdd to and when I boot up, my computer doesnt seem to recognize the old hdd. Will getting a fresh new hdd and connecting it to my computer help fix recognizing the new hdd? If I do get a new hdd what do I get?

I can explain. they were open and bad and couldnt push into our last, and we were open and bad, but had offclasses and it was badlands, so we just held last for like 15 minutes or something. glop came back and we won, by holding last.
