John and I had to switch a couple times because he forgot he didn't have a crossbow. If someone is captain they can pick themselves on any class so what does it matter? You think the other team missed out on the mr popo medic x-factor?

We should ban captains from selecting their own class. That way they can't decide to pick themselves on their main class and throw off the balance of the pug. That's effectively what you're saying.

Last season (s29) we got one IM tryout and didn't make the cut. After tryouts dried up we tried making an IM team last minute and got turned down by those we asked. One open team asked us to play as starters but we opted not to play. We settled for a back-up role on alfa's team because that seemed more appropriate. Believe it or not JM and I didn't predict that 3 starters would get cut over team drama. No one on that team predicted that.

Reality is this wasn't a malicious act by us to steal the minuscule open prize pot. Just wanted to play some TF2 with the boys and all the playoff games were close/intense. Its so ignorant to call JM and I sandbaggers when IM/Invite teams didn't want us.

Division: Open to any division
Classes: Depends on the division (ie: I can only play medic above open)

we would prefer a team that doesn't play too late (no scrims played past 10:30 eastern time). 9:00 scrims and 10:00 matches would be best. Flexible on classes. Add me to discuss ^_^ we're available for tryouts right away. also cool with a back-up role if our schedule is too restrictive.

We placed 4th in the division this season. I just don't get it. Shouldn't we have won again for your argument to make sense? This is a friend team playing casually. Why else would I be playing?

The double standard remains. You're letting your personal dislike for John cloud your judgement. Reality simply doesn't match up to what you're complaining about.

and after season 27 n3, tambo, and vaati were all looking for invite teams up until the roster deadline. You can peruse their looking threads and such if you'd like. In fact I believe n3 was trying out for Omni5 invite. I bit the bullet and played medic to resurrect our team and give my friends a place to play at the last minute.

And despite finishing in 4th place tambo & vaati are creating an invite team for next season with 4/6 of our roster. Unfortunately JM's internet is just too unreliable to join them. Its not enjoyable playing with ping that spikes to 200-300 constantly. So do you hate my team or do you just hate John?

Why does Sporadic get excused for sandbagging due to losing players and my team does not?

Every season my team lost players due to rl circumstances or members wanting to play for a different team. You're channeling your hatred towards my good buddy JM onto my team and I. That ain't right.

Here is our roster turnover from the beginning:
season 25 (open): fuzion, reimu, and vaati
season 26 (open 2nd place): Mikey, zilly, Grimm, Rekuso
season 27 (im): meyy (losing meyy impact wise is like losing 2+ players)

I don't know how you expect a team that losses 3/6 | 4/6 | 2/6 players to just seamlessly transition to invite. How many players is Sporadic losing? They all seem to be LFT...

I feel you're minimizing the difference between a top 4 na invite medic in meyy and me (someone who has never played medic at a competitive level). Its deceitful to say "identical" with such a major roster change.

Identical roster? I played medic for my team last season with essentially 0 experience on medic and sparse league experience overall.
