You might want to delete surfaceproperties.txt in the scripts folder, its just an fps boost/
edit: enable "cl_hud_minmode 1", otherwise the health and ammo will look weird.

Well this is quite weird, I deleted and reinstalled my hud for about the 6th time in two days, and it just fixed itself... thanks for the help though.
