it wasnt that they sold out too fast, its that the dota store was broken and none of us could complete a purchase. we all sat there attempting to get tickets from the time they went on sale and couldnt get it done.

The old MMM team was definitely my favorite group of players back when i was actively watching TF2 a good amount. stamjally, cbear, although my love for cbear probably came more due to his awesome casting later on.

Sigma mentored my old TWL div 4 team years ago when he was in invite and ive held him in high regard ever since.

at a certain point you will get to where there are so many simplifying options that the net result will be something more complicated. adding features like !exclude or frankly many more options than are currently available will probably get into this territory pretty quick.

also, since adding in #tf2mix is limited to a single class i dont see why they would get transferred over.

as has been mentioned already, the purpose of the update was to make it so there was not one weapon that was used by 90% of the player base, but rather multiple weapons that are used by large portions of the population. These changes were not solely directed at the competitive scene and will probably have the desired effect within the greater tf2 community. As for our little niche game mode, the nerf isnt game breaking and still allows a soldier to equalize to middle which is all we should care about.

This all comes down to expectations. Sounds like you and red and probably the rest of your team had different expectations for the season when things were started and when things didnt go the way they thought they should there was some frustration. Playing with angry people is never fun but neither is seeing the team go down a path that you didnt think you signed up for. This thread itself is probably a great example as to why the team went down the path it has. Where you might have had good internal dialogue within the team to solve your problems you instead dont talk to each other which leads to problems.

doing a/d at all is doing a/d wrong. The only thing edifice has going for it is that no one has played it yet.

Hey all, i just got news that hibachi's computer had smoke pouring out of it and it is no longer working. This unfortunate occurrence is just the most recent event in a long series which have made this season a challenge for us. I have always been a proponent of teams not dying simply on principle, and while we have postponed what was probably inevitable for many weeks now, this most recent event simply cannot be weathered.

What this essentially means is that Vector Gaming is dead. If you know me, you know how much I really hate typing that, and realizing that it is true. I honestly take it pretty personally that I as a leader was unable to keep things going through the end of this season at least.

Not only have I let my own philosophy as a team leader down, but I have let down our sponsor Vector Gaming and in particular Syco from that organization who have paid us nearly $800 over the last 4-5 seasons for us to play this game.

I know some of our players are going to be done with TF2 for the forseeable future, and as for the rest of us look for us when next season rolls around.

PS: Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years and thanks to all the teammates this season who gave a real effort to keeping the team alive when they themselves were not necessarily exited about the prospect.
