Im pretty sure anybody with hands and eyes can shoot rockets straight down. Person whos getting counter jumped only gets to go for insane flick airshots which is a massive waste of time as those are maybe 1% of your rockets shot unlesss youre mgemike.

Also after re-reading op: are you comfortable with your sens? Are your peripherals so bad it hinders you? You could also be burnt out if youre playing way too much.
