HidiHey guys, I'm back.
Again, the biggest thing that needs to be set up is online registration and payment because we need confirmed numbers to present to the venue. However, because we don't have those numbers, the date of September 5th is subject to change since we cannot book the venue unless we have a solid number.
As for minors; There are no restrictions as far as I know, however I will relay any additional information on minors as that becomes clear (This is important for me as well). I also will look into insurance policies and other venue rules.
As for alcohol, given my situation, I will have to discourage it outside of places where it is served (i.e. bars and restaurants). The venue did not have alcohol when I was last there, and my guess is prohibits it. It would be kind of awkward to have people drinking in places outside of bars and restaurants when the person running the whole event can't drink.
pretty sure sheo's list is confirmed people, can't really say its going to be good for the participant count for this LAN if you change the dates now or there are possible changes, people can't just go back and forth to work,school etc with changing dates all the time, there has to be a commitment now since its right around the corner and it should stay September 5th as that's what people have been working with your entire absence

this wasn't the situation that was layed out for us originally, we know that Yomies (6cuties too) is a much much better team than we are and they do deserve the spot in invite (that we thought they already had). Obviously we would have taken the spot if it was offered to us because the experience is great, but since this is the way things are now yomies must certainly be in invite.
