the only rng (I think) in that game is critical hits, which are easily its biggest flaw. i would argue its not at all RPS because even pokemon who have really obvious disadvantages have ways of protecting themselves from those disadvantages being exploited.
i got pissed so much playing dark souls 1 and 2 but finished them because they were fucking amazing. i got pissed playing dark souls 3 because it was shit and didnt finish it. i have no idea how people liked that game.

id actually like to hear more about this. i never played competitive pokemon myself but ive been interested in it for a while and i was under the impression it was actually an extremely complicated game with lots of variables to consider and lots of prediction required (similar to how chess requires prediction).
my piston IIIs are starting to die now so im looking for some nice new earbuds. id definitely buy xiaomi again but i dont know how to find a verified seller so i was looking into some other ones like the sennheiser momentum and 1more buds. looking to spend around 100 CAD (or less for xiaomi lol) but id be willing to spend a little over 200 CAD if there are strong recommendations for a certain pair.

CasualMarxistFunny story, I was reading a health book, for high school students, from 1908 and it too recommended cold showers to "exercise your capillaries" now while I doubt that's actually a thing that's possible to do
This is one of the main health advantages of cold showers. Your cardiovascular system goes through significant work to literally retract inwards when you're suddenly faced with extreme cold. And unless you live in an extremely cold climate and decide to go out under dressed, this response is very infrequently exercised. Also good for the nervous system I've heard, but I know less about that.
I took cold showers for like 5 months straight in 2017. I felt amped after the showers and it made it really hard to feel cold at all in the hour or so after, but I definitely can not report any of the results like others about increased productivity and especially not it influencing social confidence. Great for waking up the brain and lowering your cold threshold, dunno beyond that
hm we might be on to something... i take warm/hot showers only BUT i live in toronto and dont wear a jacket or boots, and im a very happy person in general. maybe just being cold every so often helps with mood?
