Any clarification, its not really working, and I'm unsure of what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm not being clear? sorry if that's the case.

#3 Dota 2 Question: Control groups. in Off Topic

So are you saying that by doing this it will select both familiars instead of just one when summoned? And will it stay selected as a group when I tab between hero and other units?

#1 Dota 2 Question: Control groups. in Off Topic

Hi,

I have a question regarding control groups and microing in Dota 2. I like to keep "automatically select summoned units" off because it gives me more control over tree ents, and things like that. However, When it comes to a different heroes like visage for example, for some reason it needs to cycle through each unit, instead of having both selected as one group. Ok, I realize this may not being very clear, so let me try and elaborate what I'm trying to do.

My goal is to be able to have a key which selects all units, and if pressed again will separate units into 2 groups (hero and summoned units, I.e Furion and then ents). This would make it easier to cycle through each group with tab, that's the default I believe.

If this is vague or messy, let me know. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

lambdaWith the new art style, I feel like there trying to appeal to a younger audience. The old art was...more "mature", and fit better with the pacing and story line. Still, its aight.

LMAO, I was thinking of the movie made back in 1995, yeah, after that though disregard what I said.

#7 Scripting help? in Q/A Help
Whoopee_Cushionin the same vane as hanbrolo, typing +right or +left in console will make you spin around in circles without moving. If the plugin looks for actual feet moving though, +moveright/+moveleft would be a better bet. Anything without the wait command will look weird to other people.

Okay, I'll try doing this.

hooliThe wait command was removed from the game.

Ok, thanks.

#6 Scripting help? in Q/A Help

@Hanbrolo
I'm almost 100 percent sure that it is not spawn specific, it will only kick you due to inactivity.

@Kaeyel
So, Hanbrolo said that the wait command has been broken for some time, this leads me to believe that the general consensus is that as of now, this would not work whatsoever?

Is it then possible to have a program outside of Tf2 that would do what I'm describing?
