i played this so much in my mid teens

I've always found these types of games (gotta mention tactics ogre whenever fft is mentioned) really difficult to get into because the sheer amount of party customization can be so daunting.

However, for the same reason, they are my favorite games of all time (excluding tf2 of course) because building your strategy and your characters feels so rewarding. It helps that both fft and tactics ogre are extremely well done and their stories are amazing. just getting past the five hour hump is so difficult for the first playthrough

yeah, man. there's a lot you can do in terms of your party. i mean a lot. tons of possibly jobs that require specific knowledge to unlock via other jobs. map knowledge for better items. what works for you, for the upcoming battles, knowing how to play out each map layout so that it works in your favor without losing a guy, etc.

i think that's why it's in my top 5 favorite games, to be honest. in terms of today, the game doesn't have a lot to offer, but back then it really did. the game still holds up today too! it has a near perfect balance of quality and quantity.

#39 Single Player games in Other Games

Skyrim, Dark Souls 1 and 2 (haven't played 2 personally, but I assume it's at least good enough to try out), Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Inquisition, a lot of PS1 and 2 games depending on your genre preference, Kingdom of Amalur (great game for what it is), Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Witcher 1 & 2.

Hey, Shdw! Thanks for taking your time to do this.

Just a heads up - our match might not be on Thursday. The other team will not, as of right now, have 6 to play. Hopefully things can get rearranged so that a full 6v6 game can go on!

Best of luck to you guys in our match whenever.

#43 1/25/15 New Open teams, how are you doing? in TF2 General Discussion

I kind of feel like I'm holding my flank down because I never have a clear idea of when I should play more aggressively, and in turn, that leads to me not giving them as much support as they should be getting. A second problem I have is I have a small tunnel vision problem and at times do not help my scout partner or roamer kill whoever they're shooting.

What can I do to get out of the mindset I seem to have in my first problem, and what can I do to force myself to focus more on helping my flank and who they're hitting?

#54 The demoman nerf: a semi-statistical analysis in TF2 General Discussion

It's not like any of these posts will convince the TF2 team that their decision was unnecessary. Unless the TF2 team is bipolar as fuck, I don't see stickies being "normal" again. All of you demo mains will get used to it and develop new ways of playing (possibly) in order to compensate. But I main scout and not demo, so what do I know, I guess.

Datalook at what you've done with your life before saying things.

Yeah, I'll get back to you once I kill 4 small scale gaming projects and a large scale esports league. I haven't lived the life yet.
