I don't really follow other games besides TF2 but I do play other games regularly. Mostly single player games as I'm a huge sucker for a good single player game. Recently finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution (yeah, I'm late), and right now I'm playing AC3. I have the Sims 3 sitting on my computer for whenever I want to play that. I was in the middle of playing FC3 but my saves were deleted so now I plan on playing that later. I'll probably play Skyrim again soon too.

The remake is absolutely terrible.

Don't let them play s14 and give the LAN spot to someone else. I'm neutral about Xen, but I don't want to dick someone out of a LAN spot for a team who dicked the whole community and future community members just so they could get shit on. Seems more like a decision to shit on the community than them by letting them go.

How is the amount of times you get to take a shot at someone relevant? A more skilled player more than likely requires less shots required than a lower leveled player. Why? Because he's good and can aim. He practiced. That doesn't mean you need to shoot one thousand times before you're able to understand how to aim better.

The more you keep worrying about how many shots you can get off on another player, the less you're going to actually improve. If anything, focus on how little shots you can get off on a player before you get the frag.

I'm not going to agree with you or anyone who says sniper is a waste of space in a 4v4 environment. I already said I can live with the headshot only plugin, and I can live with the rifle banned so snipers can only SMG, but banning the class overall is stupid. Whenever I go into a DM server, I'm there for me, to help myself practice, not other people. And I can perfectly understand the other side of the argument, I just do not agree entirely.

As for your skill difference argument, there's nothing that can be done about it. If a high level player wants to switch teams to make it a little more balanced, then that player will do it. Chances are they won't because it ultimately doesn't matter. I understand playing against higher level players can get discouraging. I felt the same once. Eventually they'll realize it's amazing practice for yourself. I love playing against higher level players in DM. It only helps me get better.

Alleal, how does having it 5v5 over 4v4 give more accessibility to lower level players? The only accessibility differences are 2 people having to sit in queue to play in 4v4 server as opposed to if it were a 5v5. And the demo class functions perfectly fine in DM, and that's what people have a problem with. I don't think you actually understand why people have a problem with demo and sniper.

You shouldn't worry about any skill level imbalances there may be on either team. As you're well aware, it's a DM server. You practice your aim and maybe your movement too. DMing in a server where someone 20x better than you is on the other team doesn't mean you won't have the chance to practice. You only get better practicing against better players. This is something people don't seem to understand.

I would do anything to have the old DM servers back. Fog, you can make happen through your own servers, right? I believe.

If anything, just ban the primary weapon. People like using SMG to help with tracking. Good for when scout spots are taken.

"You spend less time fighting" I haven't noticed this at all. It's only 1 person less. Given the map is small enough, or the spawns are near each other enough, 1 less person isn't really a problem.

As for the no headshot plugin, I can live with or without it. I just don't get how it's "cheap" considering it doesn't matter what's cheap or not in scrims* or matches. If you hit your shot, you hit your shot. Doesn't matter how it was hit. But like I said, I'm fine either way.

My personal opinion would be to remove Warmfront and Turbine (not sure yet about viable replacements), but the majority likes Turbine I guess. So probably just remove Warmfront and put in Freight if it's not already in.

DM'd in Fog's server for about an hour. Was fun and I like the 8 player limit.

Also I'm gonna try to get it populated again. 3 people in atm.
