raikukirbymy fps drops from 250-300 to 80 every 5 minutes or so and lasts for like 2 minutes. it's been doing this for months. i think it's just my psu getting too hot. i figured putting a fan on my computer would help keep it from getting too hot but i guess not :s
Roughly the same issue, thought I have no cooling or temperature issues.
i feel like it is for me because i get this same issue in BO2. the only thing keeping me from being convinced is that i only get this problem in those games.

Mr_Owlwhat? There was like a 3 month burn ban because it was so hot and dry. It was nasty last summer.

I don't believe it was this hot the past couple summers. It's kind of funny though, considering I came from Vegas where the weather gets to like 110 and is dry as shit.

I don't understand why this is necessary. You SHOULD be dependent on your scattergun. If you're hitting most of your shots, then yeah. If you're not, then you should be working on that, not switching to your secondary.
