can't replace skybox with lawena
in
Q/A Help
I can't replace the skybox in demos using lawena v4. I've tried most of the skyboxes in the program and none of them work (it uses the default skybox no matter which one I select in the program).
I have tried:
- editing pure_server_full.txt to say "any" instead of "trusted_source"
- editing pure_server_minimal.txt the same
- alias sv_pure ""
None of these work. I'm not getting anything special in console, it seems.
Any ideas?

flippersheh. the problem is still persisting, surprised people care about this now i mean its not gonna get fixed any time soon so you might as well just get over it and learn sfm which is a shitty alternative but do you really have a choice.
edit: im sorry if this was too blunt
it's blunt but it's true. sfm is less of a pain in the ass anyway, at least once you work out the basics

FogDeepI don't get the point of not putting snipers in. Now if I want some sniper dm practice I have to go annoy people on an MGE server to get some practice.Because it's not fun to get killed from any spot on the map in possibly 1 shot.
That's not exclusive to DM. Sniper is legal everywhere else.
FogAlso in most cases it's a waste of a player slot.

KanecoWireplay doens't have shiny in-game medals tho (I think, not absolutely sure), believe it or not that plays a big part for many people.
Those aren't the kind of people we want to play the game with. If you're only playing for a medal at platinum level you should really reconsider...lots of things

to me, the font is the most important thing in a hud
if it has the TF default font, or a font that just doesn't look good to me (broeselhud, HUDAS, rays, most garm3ns) I won't be using it. The only hud I really like because of this is DeliHUD.
