Yeah, I was wholly unimpressed with tf2center with this event. The second the teams were decided and we got into the mumbles, we were like "yo these teams are stupid". All the tf2c admins on our team (and it was a lot rofl) said it would be fine and we'd just play it. "The number of stars are even" means literally nothing when the enemy team has literally the best demoman, a top level heavy, a plat scout, and a plat spy.

I've rung medic for a steel eu highlander team and it was less painful than playing that game. Explaining what suicides are and where to hold are things that I should be doing in highlander newbie mixes, not a showmatch broadcasted to 500 people.

Makes me feel very uncertain about advanced lobbies and the skillgaps that will exist in them.

so i tried using the "broken" gun spot people are talking about in a lobby today and it got taken out 5 seconds in to the enemy teams uber.

if your team is struggling taking that out you need some serious help.

literally the only issue with this map for me is how laggy it can get on my toaster pc. looks and plays great imo, phi.

roamer does not need a buff on this map. this map is already very soldier-friendly (lots of highground, lots of jumps, lots of corners/chokes, lots of props and walls to get in the way of the other players that don't effect you).

maybe that's why it was atrocious to play and it has nothing to do with the map itself.

i think the only words they're thinking about adding are "air", "meat", "head", and "shot" to combine into a few different phrases. these will potentially be only be four out of nine emotes.

there are other emote ideas being thrown around now as well, the "+2" being one of them. i personally think the (limited) will be a fun way for chat to freak out at big moments, which i assume is the goal with them. obviously, it won't work for all of them, but i think they could be pretty good.

I didn't lose my scholarship after my first year of college, so I have that going for me.
