i got the 3080FE to boost workstation power while waiting on my 3090FTW because i knew my bro would pay me msrp when i was done with it. I got the 3080 in the bestbuy drop a few weeks ago. I have multiple discords that ping me when drops happen, and I got lucky. Bestbuy is the only etailer that I know of that reliably reserves your product once you get to the checkout page, which fixes how bots can outpace you and insta-pay for everything
Turned out not being necessary because the queue for the 3090FTW Ultra caught up to me a week later. It'll be here tomorrow (in theory)

edit 24 chunk render distance (max in rtx) averages just under 100fps when staying in the same area, ~60 with some bad spikes when loading a lot of new chunks (like flying around in creative). will update when the 3090 gets here lol

Hey everyone. I have an EVGA 3090 FTW Ultra on the way, mainly to be used for productivity in Blender.
That shit was expensive though, so I'd love any recommendations on great games that have been released in the past couple years. I've not just casually played single player video games since ~2010, so I'm super out of the loop. I definitely want to see how far games have come in the past few years.
I love games that tell a story and have good movement. That's literally all I care about though- open to p much anything, including "older" titles that I missed this past decade. ty gamers <3

those classes aren't particularly good, especially relative to a stock lineup. focus hitscan on the pyro then take out the other two in any order

why do some maps (e.g. gullywash) have equal respawn times regardless of points owned, whereas others (e.g. metalworks) give shorter respawns for owning less points? i understand the logic of giving the respawn advantage to the defending team, but am unsure as to why this varies map by map
map layout will inherently delay some times and/or make holding/pushing harder or easier. good mappers fix this by adjusting times.
are the numbers displayed in the table accurate for a 6v6 setting? the article for respawns states that the default values are scaled down when there are fewer than 8 players on a team, and im wondering if the table reflects those values
yes, unless my whole life is a lie. i was told a long time ago that tournament mode locks it in. (assuming someone can confirm)
there information available on the respawn wave timers for all the maps in the current league rotation? the tf2 wiki only displays data for official maps
