is there any way to remove viewmodels now?

do transparent viewmodels still work? if yes then you could make the refract material completely transparent, which would essentially disable them.

Game's performance is absolutely attrocious, ever worse than i thought, i5 3210M, GT650M SLI, not exacly amazing, but i should not be getting 15 fps. I also get every 5 second lagspike every 30 secs or so. With FPS config im rarely dropping below 90 on mids.

avaiihn...Also for me Ive been having issues with my mic sounding underwater, but it only ever happens in tf2 voice chat.
muffling voice underwater is intentional effect that can be disabled by setting "dsp_water" to "0"

if you want lod bias to stay on 15 in csgo you have to make nvidia's game profile file read only, simply set lod bias to 15 (or your desired value), head to C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs and make everything in there read only, at least this worked for me when i tried to make it work, however there's few issues, one on them being that every weapon that has skin will be completly black which looks terrible, and i believe it's bannable in ESEA.
