Why is it password protected now?

It’s good for us but not good for the server owners who want more people to play, and don’t care too much about the quality of the players

it's too late to take out elo, people have spent hundreds of hours just grinding elo and taking away all their hard work would most likely make them quit. What they are doing now is a really good step

universal elo would get more people on the west coast and chilly servers

Imagine the level of gay that would come with that. If you know that you’re playing a team whose soldiers carry them you could ring someone on a dsl connection from fucking China and completely cripple their carries. Or if you’re playing against a team you know is toxic you could play on high ping and hope their team dies halfway through the match

Thanks jarateking, I’m a pretty laid back person and I have never done anything violent in my life. My dad is completely opposed to violence and he thinks that even movies with violence in them will make me violent. My parents have pretty much no trust in me whatsoever.

I was planning on bringing up that last point you mentioned “people with more free time are more likely to do bad things” but I can’t find a source on this

This is all really good advice and I appreciate you guys telling me it, but I also need to convince my parents that video games don’t make people violent

I’m not an introverted loser, I rarely play video games/use electronics compared to everyone else at my age
