i think stalemates are actually good, i dont mind having them and every time people want changes to maps and unlocks just to decrease the amount of stalements im just like "why?"

Tobmdvwill dx8 be allowed?To my knowledge there is no server command that can limit dxlevel outside of the matchmaking beta. And even if there is/will be they're listening to feedback from the community.
to be honest its easy to force people use specific dxlevels as long as the server is running SourceMod
ive played cs:s with mat_dxlevel 70 for a while, and while half of the servers i joined blocked the dxlevel and kicked me out with the message for me to switch to at least 80, other half of the servers worked just fine
